New sales and service office in Zarafshan city was opened for further improvement of quality of service for subscribers of South-West Regional Branch of Unitel, which unites Bukhara and Navoi regions. Main distinguishing feature of new office from others is opportunity to connect to FTTB network (Fiber To The Building).

Director of South-West Regional Branch of Unitel commented: “All conditions for comfortable serving of subscribers were created at the new office. Besides, subscribers can receive full information not only on fixed or mobile communication, but also on broadband Internet both on FTTB technology and USB-modem of Beeline.”

In June 2009, the construction of optic-fiber FTTB network was completed in Zarafshan. As of June 2009, the network is largest local data transfer network in the country, which provides access to Internet through optic-fiber connection with the speed of 100 megabit per second.
