Beeline launches 4G LTE network in more than 20 cities of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Telecommunications operator Beeline launched a 4G LTE network in 21 cities, the company’s press service said.

According to the company, the 4G LTE network is deployed in such cities as Tashkent, Angren, Andijan, Bekabad, Bukhara, Gijduvan, Gulistan, Jizzakh, Zarafshan, Karshi, Kokand, Margilan, Navoi, Namangan, Nukus, Samarkand, Termez, Fergana, Urgench, Khiva and Chirchik.

Director General of Unitel Dmitry Shukov said that launch of LTE network in dozens of cities of Uzbekistan shows technological leadership of Beeline. He said that the operator plans to expand coverage of 3G and 4G networks in all regions of Uzbekistan. He noted that Beeline will do its utmost to accelerate the development of the telecom industry.

The 4G in the Beeline network operates on the frequencies of the LTE 850 band (band 18 and band 5).
