New service will allow Beeline subscribers to send message from their handsets to email as SMS. There is no need to connect to Internet to use this service.
To send message, it is necessary to create new SMS and in the text area to type email and after space message body (for example: adresdruga@pochtadruga.uz Hello, how are you?). After that, subscriber should send it to short number 083.
The service is available for all subscribers by default. The cost of one SMS message to email is US$0.03.
Unitel’s Senior Communications Manager Oraz Abdurazakov said that many subscribers need regular email. Beeline offers large number of mobile Internet, but some users have no skills or right handset, so they cannot use them, he added. Abdurazakov added that the new service will meet their demand and there is no need to use mobile browser.
