Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) launched new basic station in Surkhandarya region. The station covers four settlements and Omonhona sanitary, which annually visited by over 200,000 people from all regions of Uzbekistan.

Director of Southern Regional Branch of Unitel Ulugber Akhmedov said that the project is unique as it was installed at the height of 1,400 meters above sea level.

It is impossible to reach the area with vehicle and it takes several hours to climb to it. Now, hundred thousand people can use mobile communication and Internet at remote area.

Surkhandarya region, which is located in south of Uzbekistan, has unique flora and fauna. Here in mountains, there are many springs, some of which has unique healing characters. One of them is Omonhona, which located at the border of ancient Baisuntau and spur of Gissar mountain range.
