Beeline expands number of roaming partners
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) expanded list of roaming partners, the company said in a release.

Beeline subscribers can now use voice roaming at networks of Telecom Seychelles (Seychellois), Elisa (Finland), Wana (Morocco) and Wind (Italy).

The operator inked agreements on proving GPRS-roaming with Cellplus (Mauritius), Latelz (Cambodia), Vodafone (Hungary), Cable&Wireless (Guernsey), Orange (Madagascar), U-Mobile (Malaysia), Alands (Finland) and Manx Telecom (Isle of Man). CAMEL-roaming is now available at networks of Bakcell (Azerbaijan) and Africell (Gambia).

Unitel technical director Anton Golikov said that the operator became number one roaming operator in Uzbekistan on number of roaming partners. He added that Beeline is already roaming operator number one in the world and its Uzbek branch makes all the best to correspond this level.

Currently, international voice roaming service is available at networks of 380 operators in 159 countries, GPRS-roaming – 182 operators in 95 countries. Beeline also leads on 3G-roaming (123 operators in 80 countries) and CAMEL-roaming (110 operators in 69 countries).

Beeline subscribers can also use CAMEL roaming. The service allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming does not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.
