The agreements on rendering GPRS-roaming services were inked with Wind (Italy), O2 (UK), PCCW (Hong Kong), Cable&Wireless (Panama), Mobitel (Bulgaria), Vodafone (Malta) and DoCoMo Pacific (Guam). The subscribers can also now use voice roaming service at Telecel (Central African Republic).
Technical director Unitel LLC Anton Golikov said: “Mobile Internet firmly entered to life and many our clients do not want refuse from service during their travels. Beeline as leading roaming operator of Uzbekistan intends to expand their opportunity in this direction and continue to search new partners worldwide.”
Beeline subscribers can also use CAMEL roaming. The service allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming does not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.
