In October, the capacity of external Internet channel, used by Beeline, was broadened by 25%, the company said.

Unitel’s senior communications manager Oraz Abdurazakov said: “As integrated telecom operator we provide Internet services via majority of existing technologies. Undoubtedly, expansion of our technical capacities will promote further development of Internet in Uzbekistan.”

The operator said that external Internet channel of Beeline expanded by 75% in 2010. External internet channel at the end of June was 1.58 Gbs in Uzbekistan.
