Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV LLC) announced about expansion of geography of international voice and GPRS roaming.

From 20 August 2009, international voice roaming is available at the network of partners - Digicel (Guyana), AIS (Thailand), Vodafone (New Zealand) and AT&T Mobility (USA).

GPRS roaming is accessible at the network of Mobily (Saudi Arabia), Mobilkom (Austria), 2Degrees (New Zealand), BCTI (Turkmenistan), P&T (Luxemburg) and Warid (Bangladesh).

Andrei Solouhin, Unitel commercial director, commented: “Today, Beeline subscribers can travel to over 129 countries without changing their numbers as 311 our roaming partners ready to serve them. Besides, they can evaluate 3G roaming at networks of 26 operators from 20 countries with use of UMTS (HSDPA) handsets.”

Tariffs at 3G roaming do not differ from zonal tariffs of international roaming (the cost of video call per minute is equal to the cost of one minute of voice call). Besides, CAMEL-roaming is available in majority of the most visit countries of Unitel subscribers. CAMEL-roaming allows use Beeline communication services at positive balance without guarantee fee of US$50. At the same time, charging is carried out in real time.
