From 28 December 2009, the Beeline subscribers can use service of GPRS roaming in networks of EMT (Estonia), P4 (Poland), UMC (Ukraine), BakCell (Azerbaijan), T-Mobile (USA), Sotelco (Cambodia) and Zain (Iraq).
Head of Beeline Business Ivan Smolentsev commented: “Regular expansion of roaming area of Unitel is one of the strategic directions of our work. Beeline is roaming operator No. 1 in the world and it is pleasure that at the end of the year we added Sotelco, one of the latest purchases of VimpelCom and new member of Beeline international family to the list of our partners.”
Beeline also offers CAMEL roaming. CAMEL roaming allows to use Beeline communication services at any positive balance, in other words without guarantee fee of US$50 and till the balance of subscriber reaches US$0. At the same time, the funds will be written off in real time regime. CAMEL roaming doest not requires activation and it is automatically enabled in handsets. The service can use any individual subscribers, connected to pre-paid tariffs at any positive balance.
