According to the Main Department of forest under the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management, currently 5,328 personnel and 457 farm entities of Uzbekistan possess 213,487 beehives.

In order to develop and economically support these entities, some 28,000 beehives, about 258,000 frames and other necessary tools were supplied to them. The banks issued 351.8 million soums of loans.
