Banking vs. Non-banking apps: Who leads in online payments with Humo cards?
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Users of Humo bank cards actively utilize the Click app for online transactions.
According to data from Humo, as of January 2025, Click accounted for 36.68% of all online transactions made using Humo cards among non-banking applications.
Paynet and Payme secured second and third place, with market shares of 23.97% and 23.81%, respectively.
Other market participants held smaller shares: alif — 7.69%, Beepul and other apps — 3.67% each.
Overall, non-banking payment services exhibit a high degree of market concentration, with the top three players controlling 84.46% of all transactions.
In the banking sector, the leading app is Xazna from the People’s Bank, accounting for 21.17% of transactions.
Octo-Mobile by Octobank ranks second with 10.18%, while Uzum Bank rounds out the top three with a 9.91% share.
Collectively, these three banking apps facilitated 41.26% of all transactions, significantly lower than the concentration observed in the non-banking sector.
The top five also include TBC Bank (8.38%) and Zoomrad from Aloqabank (7.61%).
Following them are Milliy 2.0 from the National Bank (5.32%), Hamkorbank (4.95%), and Anorbank (4.23%).
Notable market participants also include mobile applications from Ipak Yoʻli Bank (4.03%), Agrobank Mobile (3.38%), SQB Mobile (3.08%), and Asakabank (2.51%).
The combined share of all other banking apps in terms of online transactions via Humo cards in January 2025 amounted to 13.16%.
