Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential resolution “On measures to improve the training system in the banking and financial sector” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, the Banking and Finance Academy was transferred to the management of the National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity (NBU), and it was determined as the founder of the Academy.

The existing programs of study in the specialties of the magistracy for persons admitted to the magistracy of the Academy in 2018-2019, as well as the procedure for financing the expenses of the Academy at the expense of the State budget until the completion of the training of people studying in the magistracy on the basis of a state grant, are preserved.

Also, according to the resolution, by 1 February 2020, the Academy Development Concept for 2020–2025 will be developed.

The Banking and Finance Academy was established by Decree of the President of May 2, 1996 No. UP-1460, and is a state higher educational institution for the training, retraining and advanced training of managerial personnel and specialists in the banking, financial, tax systems and industries of the real sector of the economy, training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher qualification, as well as carrying out research activities in these areas.
