Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint-stock innovative commercial bank Ipak Yuli reported a net profit of 232.4 billion soums in the first quarter of 2024, which is 17.5% higher than the same period in 2023.
According to the bank’s report, interest income increased by 61% and amounted to 905 billion soums, and non-interest income increased by 35%, reaching 448.5 billion soums.
The bank’s assets increased by 31.7%, reaching 17.7 trillion soums. The bank’s capital at the end of the first quarter amounted to 3 trillion soums, which is 32.2% more than in the same period in 2023.
According to the Central Bank, the loan portfolio as of 1 April 2024 amounted to 12.3 trillion soums, with an annual growth of 42.9%, and the share of problem loans (NPL) decreased from 2.1% to 0.9%.
