Bank Ipak Yoli introduce “credit conveyor” based on SAP CRM

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Bank Ipak Yoli and SAP CIS completed a project “Single Client Card and Credit Application”.

The project helped to create single information environment about real and potential clients, as well as partners of the bank, while process of considering loan applications of legal entities and individuals was automated.

For the first time in Uzbekistan, the bank transferred the retail unit to a platform for managing customer interactions with SAP CRM and a single SAP HANA data warehouse.

In order to increase customer loyalty due to better service and provision of new types of services, the following parameters were chosen as priority areas: acceleration of the process of approval of applications, reduction of processing speed and decision-making on loan applications, taking into account an objective assessment of client creditworthiness.

This strategy allowed to increase the volume of credit products. Before the launch of SAP systems, the bank sold 30 credits per day, at the moment - the figure is 70 loans, mostly small, standardized (microloans).

Integration of the credit line with ABS and the formation of unified printed forms allowed to significantly reduce the percentage of errors, and thanks to electronic document management it was possible to shorten the time for the approval of applications in half. Before the introduction of the loan conveyor for processing the application of an individual and its approval took 3-4 hours, now this process takes up to 1 hour.

"Due to the transition to SAP solutions, Ipak Yuli’s main credit processes have been automated - all branches already issue loans using a credit conveyor implemented on SAP CRM. We will use this experience in further automation of the retail unit to be always close to our customers, to anticipate their needs and to offer the most popular banking products," commented Ulugbek Tavakkalov, head of the retail business development group at Bank Ipak Yuli.
