As earlier reported, the bank partnered with supermarkets network korzinka.uz to issue the first co-branded banking cards in Uzbekistan. The cardholders can receive special discounts and offers at using card in korzinka.uz supermarkets.
The bank said soon customers can apply for the cards at one of the supermarkets of korzinka.uz or at any branches of the Bank Credit Standard. The bank said it is planning to increase number of cardholders to 15,000 in near future.
Bank Credit Standard added it is working with other well-known brands in Uzbekistan to develop similar projects.
Bank Credit Standard open joint-stock commercial bank was founded on 16 August 2003 with the charter capital of 1.3 billion soums. The bank’s headquarters is located in Tashkent. The bank issued 12,000 banking cards as of 1 July 2009. The bank is expecting to emit additional 10,000 cards soon.
