Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By a resolution of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it was decided to register the joint stock company "BANK APELSIN" in the city of Tashkent and issue a license to it for the right to carry out banking activities. This was reported by the press service of the Central Bank.

Mobile app Apelsin announced that the app is transforming into a stand-alone digital bank.

“At the end of 2019, we appeared as an application for the clients of Kapitalbank, passed an incredibly interesting and productive period of 2 years and grew into an independent digital bank. It seems that this is the only case when the bank’s mobile application has grown into a separate bank,” Apelsin said in a statement.

It is noted that Bank Apelsin will not have physical branches and offices. “But we will be always there, always at hand, 24/7 in your mobile phone,” said Apelsin.
