Bangladesh appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Bangladesh appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan.

In line with the decision, Muhammad Imran will head diplomatic mission of Bangladesh in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to appointment, Imran headed South Asia Department of the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry. He also worked in Bangladesh missions in Jeddah, Bonn, Berlin and Ottawa in various capacities.
