Baltika Breweries and DERBES are part of Carlsberg Group. The agreement is directed at integration of business in Kazakhstan and reorganization of Baltika-Almaty with DERBES.

Baltika Breweries supplies it products to Kazakhstan from 2000. In 2008, the sales of the company grew by 18% in natural expression and exceeded 9.5 million deciliters. Baltika brands are holding leading position in Kazakhstan and its share in general volume of sales account 79%. According to AC Nielsen, share or Baltika in Kazakhstan reached 24% in 2008.
