Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 July 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis.

The ministers exchanged views on the further deepening of bilateral relations in all areas of the common agenda.

“We are glad to meet with my dear colleague, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis. We discussed the broad agenda of our comprehensive bilateral relations from politics to tourism and identified priorities for the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Switzerland aimed at strengthening close ties, the Uzbek Foreign Minister wrote in his telegram channel. 

“We express our sincere gratitude for his interest in the centuries-old history of Uzbekistan, constant support for reforms for the sustainable development of the country, readiness to expand cooperation in the field of education, healthcare, green technologies, trade, etc,” he said.
