Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 September, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects in agriculture, industry, education, science, and culture.

The ministers noted the successful development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, explored opportunities for Belarusian enterprises to enter the Uzbek market and vice versa, and examined the prospects for creating joint ventures.

They also addressed cooperation issues, reaffirming their commitment to the principles of peaceful conflict resolution, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, as well as collaboration in the fight against terrorism and extremism.

The ministers expressed confidence that the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus would contribute to economic growth and strengthen friendly relations between the two countries.
