Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Akihisa Nagashima, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening bilateral and multilateral partnerships between Uzbekistan and Japan.

The main focus was on expanding economic cooperation, maintaining regular exchanges, and reinforcing long-term friendly relations between the two countries.

The schedule of upcoming events aimed at deepening cooperation in various areas was also discussed.

It was noted that the potential for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation remains significant.
