Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov held meetings with Pakistani officials.

He met Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Privatization Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, National Food Security and Research Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain, and Pakistan Railways Chairman Syed Mazhar Ali Shah.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan noted that during the negotiations, special attention was paid to the development of economic diplomacy, promoting interregional partnership and enhancing cooperation in the fields of transport, logistics, investment and agriculture.

The Uzbek side welcomed the participation of large Pakistani companies and successful B2B meetings at the Tashkent International Investment Forum, which was held last week.
