Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 9 July 2024, a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan.

Discussions focused on promoting economic diplomacy, improving transportation links, developing mutual tourism, supporting educational exchanges, and implementing joint prospective projects across various sectors.

"The foreign policy agencies of Uzbekistan and Malaysia closely collaborate in implementing all agreements reached between our leaders. Our comprehensive agenda covered facilitating regular exchanges at all levels, expanding mutual ties, intensifying dialogue on regional and global issues, implementing joint projects, strengthening business connections, and much more," noted the Uzbekistan Foreign Minister in his Telegram channel.
