Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, at the invitation of Indian External Affairs Minister Subramanyama Jaishankar, took part in the meeting of foreign ministers of the second “Voice of the Global South” summit, Dunyo news agency reported.

“We are glad to take part in the meeting of foreign ministers of the second summit “Voice of the Global South,” the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry wrote in his telegram channel. – We exchanged views on the interconnectedness of Central and South Asia, deepening mutual cooperation in promoting the interests of developing countries, economic growth, digital technologies, and environmental protection. The summit, initiated by India, took place on 17 November in a virtual format and was dedicated to discussing the problems of developing countries. Representatives from countries in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Pacific Islands and developing countries in Asia took part in its work.
