Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Bakhtiyor Kudratullaev (Bakhti Tashkentsky) has been found guilty on multiple counts under the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The Shaykhantahur District Criminal Court in Tashkent has concluded the trial of Bakhti Tashkentsky" and 36 other individuals.
Kudratullaev was charged with 44 criminal offenses. The state prosecutor requested a total sentence of 20 years in a general regime prison, designation as a particularly dangerous recidivist, and compulsory treatment for drug addiction.
Kudratullaev faced charges including intentional serious bodily harm inflicted for mercenary motives, intentional minor bodily harm, extortion in a particularly large amount by an organized group, significant fraud by a group of individuals in premeditated conspiracy, organizing a criminal community, and other offenses.
