Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek boxer Bakhodir Jalolov has become a two-time Olympic champion by winning the super heavyweight division. In the final, he defeated Ayub Gadfu from Spain, adding another gold medal to Uzbekistan’s tally.

This marks the fifth gold medal for Uzbek boxers at the Paris 2024 Olympics, setting a record both for the Uzbek boxing team and for the sport at this year's Games.

With this achievement, Uzbek boxers have secured first place in the overall team standings.
