Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhitiyor Saidov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola Téte António held a meeting on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
A meeting focused on discussing prospects for developing bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Angola.
During the meeting, both sides expressed interest in expanding cooperation in the fields of agriculture, energy, and tourism.
Bakhitiyor Saidov emphasized the importance of establishing closer economic ties between the two countries and noted that Uzbekistan is ready to provide Angolan companies access to its markets.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola expressed readiness to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries and highlighted Angola's interest in developing trade and economic relations with Uzbekistan.
