Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan has appointed a new executive director of the off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance.

By the government resolution, Bahrom Ashrafkhanov was appointed as the Executive Director of the Extrabudgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance.

One of the main tasks of the Fund is to organize state pension provision for citizens, to grant pensions, social benefits, compensation and other payments to citizens, to ensure the recalculation of the size of pensions and other payments in the manner prescribed by law.
