Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, who worked as acting chairman of Uzbekneftegaz, was appointed as Deputy Minister of Finance of Uzbekistam for Social Affairs.

Bahrom Ashrafkhanov was appointed to the post in line with the presidential decree.

It should be noted that he already work in the Finance Ministry. In 2002–2004, he worked as Deputy Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan, Head of the State Inspectorate for Insurance Supervision.

From 2005 to 2007, he served as First Deputy Minister of Finance; from 2007 to 2016, he headed the Treasury Department.
