Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The role of the SCO Forum is unique. Deputy Director of the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mustafoyev made this statement during the XIX meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum under the chairmanship of the Uzbek side.

As noted by the representative of the ISMI, "The SCO Forum has proven its relevance and effectiveness over the years as an effective multilateral mechanism for expert dialogue." "The role of the SCO Forum is indeed unique, as this platform serves as a generator of ideas."

It is emphasized that the annual SCO Forum has established itself as an effective platform for developing scientific approaches to political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation within the SCO space.

According to the expert, "the existence of a communication channel between analytical structures allows for a 'checking of the clock' on all important issues of mutual interest, both in bilateral relations and within the SCO."

In order to increase the efficiency of the Forum, the importance of activating cooperation between analytical centers, determining specific topics within the SCO for inclusion in the SCO Forum agenda, conducting joint research on relevant SCO development issues, and considering the possibility of establishing a special fund to support scientific activities were emphasized.
