Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Berlin, Germany, within the framework of Green week 2023, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov met with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Food of Canada Michelle Cooper.

The following topics were discussed at the meeting:

Development and diversification of the system of financing the agricultural sector in Uzbekistan.

Production of grain products and the establishment of cooperation between specialized research institutes.

Investments and technologies.

Livestock development and genetic engineering.

The parties discussed an extensive agenda for cooperation. It was decided to create a joint working group to implement common initiatives. The working group will monitor the agreements and resolve organizational issues.
