The visit is aimed at developing implementation of joint project “Introduction of energy effective technology in outdoor lighting system of Tashkent city”. The project is initiated by Tashkent city administration and Toshshaharnur.

Within the project, Austrian company plans to implement pilot project on joint production of outdoor lightening equipment and develop its technical proposal to meet local conditions.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on possible ways of establishing joint production of outdoor lightening equipment and reliable energy saving luminescent lamps at the enterprises of the association within the project and for other use.

At the result of the negotiations, the sides agreed to exchange further information to develop joint project on production of energy saving lamps. The sides will consider details and terms of joint cooperation, forms and mechanism of interactions, in future cooperation stages.

Thorn is one of the largest production of lightening products and component in Austria. It produces lamps, control systems and light sources. The company has 23 plants and main productions are in Austria, Great Britain, China and France.
