During the visit, the delegation will pay hold bilateral meetings with representatives of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, as well as exchange opinion on measures directed at further developing economic and investment of Uzbekistan and Austria.

Regional director of Austrian Chamber of Commerce H. Walter said: “We are sure that market of Uzbekistan will develop dynamically in future as well. Many European, including Austrian companies are intending to claim their share in this market with further perspective to expand their activity to all region.”

According to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Austria made up US$34.1 million in the first half of 2010 against US$42 million in the same period of 2009.
