Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Assets Management Agency of Uzbekistan (AUGA) announced the launch of a competition to select a consultant who will deal with the privatization of a part of the state stake in Uztemiryulkonteyner.

AUGA plans to sell a 35% stake in Uztemiryulcontainer. The consultant is required to analyze the rail container transportation market, have experience in successfully privatizing enterprises in this industry in other countries, and develop a sales plan.

The consultant will also have to study the company's asset and propose measures to increase its investment attractiveness. He will be entrusted with the preparation of marketing materials, interaction with potential buyers and transaction support.

Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted both by individual companies and consortiums, indicating the main partner. It is recommended to provide information on the experience of conducting similar transactions, including experience in the CIS countries.

Joint stock company "Uztemiryulconteiner" was founded in 2002 as a specialized subsidiary of "Uzbekiston temir yullari". The company provides services related to the organization of container transportation on the territory of Uzbekistan.
