Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Asset Management Agency (AUGA) received a state share in the authorized capital of the National Interbank Processing Center (Humo).

This is envisaged by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan on measures to protect the rights of consumers of digital products (services) and strengthen the fight against offenses committed using digital technologies.

The national payment system was created in September 2018. According to Humo, the State Unitary Enterprise “Main Center for Informatization” of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the sole founder of the National Interbank Processing Center. The authorized capital of the National Interbank Processing Center is about 97.34 billion soums. National Interbank Processing Center has issued more than 16 million Humo bank cards.
