Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Three faculty members of the Engineering School of AKFA University (AU) became Apple Certified Trainers. They passed through the App Development with Swift Train The Trainer (T3) program in June 2022. They are the very first Apple Certified Trainers in Uzbekistan.
Bahodir Ahmedov – dean and professor of Engineering School at AU, with a decade-long teaching experience. After completing his PhD at RWTH Aachen in 2016, one of the great German universities, professor Ahmedov came back to Uzbekistan to instruct some of the greatest Computer Science programs in Uzbekistan. In 2021, he became the founding dean of the Engineering School at AU, where he works for teaching and developing the school.
Mukhammadali Khayotov – lecturer at the Engineering School at AU, who has taught Computer Programming for as long as our program has existed. This class is one of the most challenging and intensive Computer Science courses not only at AU but also across Uzbekistan. Mukhammadali was amongst the very first graduates of IUT, and has continued his studies by receiving a Master of Engineering in Computer Vision from Sejong University. Throughout the last four years, he has been heavily involved in Computer Vision research, as well as commercial software engineering both in Korea and in Uzbekistan.
Sardor Gulyamov – a teaching assistant at the Engineering School at AU, is one of our youngest faculty members. He has studied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics at one of the top universities in the US, The University of Chicago. Even though he only joined our team in Spring 2022, he has already taught the tutorials for our Intro to Computer Science class and has assisted us greatly in the development of our Computer Science
AU and its founders are working hard to create state-of-the-art facilities for students, staff, and researchers. Over 450 last-generation iMac M1 are distributed over the computer labs, library, university staff, and professors.
