Association of Uzbek Entrepreneurs created in Poland

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Warsaw with compatriots doing business in Poland, Dunyo news agency reported.

It was attended by Uzbek citizens doing business in Poland, working in several well-known banks and IT companies.

Participants were provided with information about the essence of the Strategy “New Uzbekistan - 2030”, the main priorities of the government to support compatriots working abroad, the conditions and benefits created for the implementation of investment, educational, social, humanitarian and other projects in the country. It was noted that a lot of work is being done in the republic in the field of social protection of the population, the development of science and education, and the training of modern highly qualified personnel.

The compatriots who spoke at the meeting expressed their readiness to participate in large-scale reforms being implemented in our country under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, and to direct their knowledge and experience to the development of the Motherland.

During the event, an award ceremony took place for the head of Uzinvest Sp. z o.o.” the “Khalklar Dustligi” (“Friendship of Peoples”) badge for his contribution to the development of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland.

“With the support of the Embassy in Poland, textile enterprises of Uzbekistan took part in the international exhibition “Fast Textile”, held in Warsaw in November 2023, and signed export contracts worth more than $30 million. I would like to take this opportunity to express gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for their full support and for this award,” said Vohid Mukhitdinov.

Rasuljon Ibragimov, director of the JD MEBLE furniture factory in Poland, said in his speech that he is ready to mobilize the knowledge and experience gained in the field of furniture production for the further development of the economy of Uzbekistan. “The interest of citizens of Uzbekistan to invest in the Polish economy is growing. Our two furniture factories employ 140 Poles. We currently export our manufactured furniture products to 7 countries in Europe and Africa,” he said.

Head of Eletto Sp. z o.o.” Nizomiddin Abdullayev announced plans to conduct a thorough analysis of the Polish wine market, open a national trading house to sell domestic wine in this country, and also organize advertising campaigns in case of high demand.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached on the creation of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan in Poland. The first meeting of the Association also took place.

The meeting participants approved the head of Eletto Sp. z o.o.” Nizomiddin Abdullaev is the head of this organization.
