Current level of capital adequacy of the banking system makes up 24.8%, which exceeds requirements of the Basel committee on international banking supervision three times (8%).

For last several years, level of liquidity of the banking system exceeds 64%, which is twice higher compared to minimal level, set in international practice.

The assets of the commercial banks of Uzbekistan grew by 28.2% year-on-year in 2014 and made up over 56.2 trillion soums.

The volume of loans, directed to real sector of economy of Uzbekistan, rose by 31.2% year-on-year in 2014 and as of beginning of 2015 made up over 34.8 trillion soums.

The commercial banks increased allocation of investment loans by 1.2 times year-on-year in 2014 and as of 1 January 2015 its volume made up over 8.5 trillion soums.

The volume of issued loans to small businesses rose 1.3 times year-on-year and as of 1 January 2014 reached 9.2 trillion soums, of which over 1.9 trillion soums were microloans, which grew by 1.4 times year-on-year.

The loans issued to businesswomen grew by 1.4 times year-on-year in 2014 and reached over 960.2 billion soums, the regulator said.

The commercial banks issued 200.9 billion soums to support graduates of colleges in January-December 2014, which rose by 1.4 times year-on-year.

The deposits at the banks rose by 30.5% year-on-year in 2014 and exceeded 28.5 trillion soums as of 1 January 2015.

The share of banking services in structure of financial services made up 89% in 2014, which rose by 1.3 times compared to 2013.

The banks emitted over 13.4 million banking cards, while number of installed POS-terminals exceeded 159,000 units.
