At the handing over ceremony, which was attended by management and employees of the plant, as well as representative of international certification body Russkiy Registr, the results of introduction of quality management system were summed up. At the ceremony, Russkiy Registr representative handed over ISO 9001:2008 certificate to Asl Oyna.

The company said the event became the conclusion of works on improving management system, which was started in 2010. In May 2010, the Scientific-Technical Center “Certificate” developed a programme on introduction of quality management system. During the work on creation of the system, advanced experience of foreign companies were used, while specialists of “Certificate” consulted the company.

Yuriy Popkov, deputy chairperson of the Board of Asl Oyna, said that the company almost spent a year to development of quality management system documentation. It was necessary to build system carefully to avoid all possible extra expenses.

After internal audit and preliminary external audit, which was held in November 2011, the auditors gave recommendations on development of the system. On 23 December 2011, Russkiy Registr conducted general certification and confirmed successful introduction of quality management system on ISO 9001:2008 standard.

The certificate has legal power in 39 foreign states. This will help Asl Oyna to expand its foreign economic relations and strengthen international status.
