Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 17 to 25 July, young weightlifting stars of the Continent competed in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In competitions among 21 participating countries for several days, representatives of the national team of Uzbekistan did not give up the leading position in the overall standings in both the junior and youth categories.
At the end of the competition, the closing ceremony of the tournament took place. It was attended by Deputy Ministers of Sports Development, First Deputy Chairman of the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan Shakhrillo Makhmudov, Deputy Minister Murodjon Ismoilov and Advisor to the Minister Avazbek Karimov, Secretary General of the NOC Oybek Kasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Ravshan Irmatov, Azizjon Kamilov and Sherzod Tashmatov.
