Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The second competitive day of the Asian Taekwondo WT Championship has ended in Vietnam. It should be noted that today the representatives of the Uzbekistan national team performed successfully.

During the day, domestic taekwondo athletes won 1 silver and 2 bronze awards.

Feruza Sodikova (-62 kg) climbed to the podium of the continental championship for the third time in a row. The two-time world championship medalist missed her chance in the final fight today and was awarded a silver medal.

Also, Najmiddin Kosimkhodzhiev (-74 kg) and Gulsanam Alijonova (-73 kg) reached the semi-finals and added 2 bronze medals to the delegation’s treasury. It should be noted that Kosimkhodzhiev and Alijonova stood on the podium at the Asian Championship for the first time.
