Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 August 2020, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to prepare for the IV Summer Asian Youth Games in Uzbekistan in 2025" was adopted, the Ministry of Sports reports.

It is known that at the 73rd meeting of the Executive Committee of the Asian Olympic Council, held on 28 September 2019 in Doha, it was decided to hold the IV Asian Youth Games in 2025 in Tashkent.

In accordance with the resolution, the composition of the organizing committee and the program of events for the organization of the Summer Asian Games "Tashkent-2025" at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan were approved to hold this prestigious competition at a high level.

Also, based on the experience of advanced countries, the Directorate of the Summer Asian Games "Tashkent-2025" will be created as a state institution for the systematic implementation of tasks related to the organization and conduct of the Asian Games at a high level.

The Directorate will be responsible for organizing the signing of agreements, contracts, memoranda and letters of guarantee between the Olympic Council of Asia and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on holding the Asian Games in Uzbekistan, cooperation with the Olympic Council of Asia and Asian sports federations. Development of a master plan for preparation for the Asian Games, development of the program of the Asian Games and the logo of the Asian Games Tashkent-2025, taking into account our national values.

In addition, the Directorate is responsible for preparing sports facilities and other facilities for the Asian Games in accordance with the requirements of the Olympic Council of Asia and international sports federations, providing the necessary sports, medical, technical and other equipment, providing television and technical training, protecting broadcasting rights based on analysis the possibilities of the existing infrastructure, preparation for the Games, their opening and closing ceremonies, holding promotional events to promote the ideas and values of the Asian Games, providing information and a number of other points.
