According to the payment system, Migom signed a partnership agreement with the Asia Alliance Bank.
Migom said that six service points of Asia Alliance Bank in Tashkent and Karshi cities will offer money transfer services of Migom. The clients can receive remittances and send money to 27 countries. The remittance will be received in less than a minute.
Currently, Migom works with 15 banks in Uzbekistan and has some 1,568 service points across the country.
Uzbekistan is the largest recipient of remittances from Russia. According to the Central Bank of Russia, turnover of remittances between Uzbekistan and Russia made up US$4.575 billion in 2011 and US$6.084 billion in 2012, which makes up 29.7% of total turnover with all the CIS states.
