Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Information about the theft of US$700,000 from Asakabank accounts has spread on social networks and instant messengers. 

“The bank assures its customers that this incident will not affect the savings of customers in any way and their funds are completely safe,” the bank’s press service noted.

To date, cyber-attacks on the information systems of Asakabank have not been detected, and the Bank's information systems are protected based on all available capabilities to prevent cyber-attacks, the bank said.

On all revealed facts of offenses, the materials were transferred to law enforcement agencies in the prescribed manner, the statement said.
