Asaka Bank’s aggregate assets reach 7.65 trln. soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Aggregate capital of Joint stock commercial bank “Asaka” increased by 1.463 trillion soums in six months of 2016 and reached 7.65 trillion soums.

According to the bank, its aggregate capital rose by 101.2 billion soums and made up 976.1 billion soums.

The volume of loans in soum equivalent exceeded 3.87 trillion soums, the bank’s statement reads.

About 3.552 trillion soums were long-term loans, including 3.083 trillion soums – investment loans.

In the first half of 2016, long term investment loans for 836.5 billion soums were directed to development of key industries of economy of Uzbekistan. The bank financed leasing projects for 20.7 billion soums and its leasing portfolio reached 126 billion soums.

In the reporting period, small and private businesses received credits for 835.8 billion soums. About 379.2 billion soums were directed to expansion of production of food and non-food consumer goods, as well as saturation of internal market.

The loans issued to graduates of colleges reached over 7.3 billion soums, businesswomen – 74.8 billion soums.

As of 1 July 2016, the balance of deposits reached 705.9 billion soums, increasing by 163.4 billion soums year-on-year.

Asaka Bank issued 1.63 million banking cards to circulation as of 1 July 2016, which rose by 105,000 units compared to the same period of 2015. The bank has installed over 10,900 POS-terminals at trade and service points, as well as its offices.
