Asaka Bank to pay dividends for 2009
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Shareholders of the state joint stock commercial bank Asaka adopted decision on payment of dividends for 4,265.77 soums per each ordinary share for 2009.

The bank said Asaka Bank paid interim dividends for 4,065.69 soums per share for nine months of 2009. In annual shareholders meeting, the shareholders adopted decision on payment of additional 200.08 per ordinary share for 2009.

Total number of shares, on which the bank will pay dividends, makes up 6 million units.

Asaka Bank was founded in 1995. Shareholders of the bank are Finance Ministry (66.65%), Uzavtosanoat (16.68%) and Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan (16.67%).

The charter capital of the bank was formed at the size of 300 billion soums, which comprises of 6 million ordinary shares with par value of 50,000 soums.

According to audited financial report of the bank, net income of Asaka Bank rose from 21.928 billion soums in 2008 to 23.24 billion soums in 2009.
