No details of the credit were revealed. The credit will be used to construct line on production of panoramic vehicle glasses with the capacity of 270,000 units a year.

Within the project, the enterprise plans to set new line of lamination, cutting and preliminary processes, as well as toughening oven. The project is carried out within localization programme of vehicle production in Uzbekistan.

The project will help to start production of glass for Lacetti cars of GM Uzbekistan and Isuzu lorries, assembled at SamAvto.

Avtosteklo was created in 2002. Italy’s Techint SPA installed equipment on production of frontal triplex (4mm) and back and side red-hot glasses with the capacity of 200,000 units a year. In 2008, the company produced 164,000 units of vehicle glasses. Part of products exported.
