Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 January 2019, the Uzbek-German Business Forum was held in Berlin. As part of this business forum, a meeting was held between representatives of Asaka Bank and the German bank Commerzbank AG.

Commerzbank AG is a well-known banking concern in Germany, with an extensive network of branches and subsidiaries in more than 70 countries around the world and serves approximately 8 million customers worldwide. The bank was founded on February 26, 1870. Commerzbank AG offers its customers a wide range of services, both bank services and capital and risk management services. 

Following the meeting between Asaka Bank and Commerzbank AG, an additional loan agreement worth 150 million euros was signed, bringing the total amount of the credit line to 250 million euros.

Funds received under this agreement will be used to finance investment projects with a maturity of up to 8 years, envisaging supply of technological equipment from Germany and other EU countries.
