As part of the construction of the Tashkent aboveground ring metro line, it is planned to build 9 stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the construction of the Tashkent aboveground ring metro line, it is planned to build 9 stations.

Azizbek Abdiev, Deputy Head of the Directorate for Capital Construction of Uzbekiston Temir Yollari, noted that the 2nd stage of construction of the Tashkent aboveground ring line of the metro includes a section from the Kuilyuk market, through the Tashkent ring road to the Yangikhayot district of the capital, connecting Khanabad street in Zangiata district Tashkent region, covering the Kipchak street in the Sergeli district of Tashkent, including the Bekat-5 station of the Sergeli metro line.

According to him, it is planned to build 9 stations on this section with a total length of 15 kilometers.

In total, about 150 units of special equipment are involved in construction work, as well as about 3,500 qualified engineers and workers. The production of concrete structures, cement, sand and other necessary building materials is carried out on the basis of the localization of products, where special attention is paid to quality, compliance with all norms, requirements and production standards.

It was noted that a total of 5 stages of construction of the Tashkent aboveground ring metro line are planned, which is being developed and implemented jointly with foreign specialists from Russia, Turkey and Germany.
