US corportation Google Inc., in particular Higher Department on development of new technologies and developments of Google adopted decision to enter new perspective territories for its developments. Largest retailers of Google in Middle and Far East, as well as Central Asia - General Mobile – started to search for potential markets.

Delegation of the General Mobile visited Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Iran and several other states to study potential of markets. After long considerations and talks, In July 2015 Google representatives offered to start cooperation with Uzbekistan. At the same time, General Mobile underlined that production capacities and service points of Artel are acceptable variant for production of smartphones.

Discussing this issue with the US partners, Google selected market of Uzbekistan as dynamically developing and the most favourable for foreign investments. Taking into account experience and good production capacities, as well as excellent management of Artel, Google decided to cooperate with local producer Artel.

In the result, the Uzbek company is planning to launch production of new smartphone Android One, based on developments of Google.

Android One has many functions and comfortable. The device has refined design with modern technologies.

Android One has two advantages. First, the device is convenient to work with Google tools. Second, the device automatically updates operating system Android.

The device has 64-bit processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 with quadcore processor ARM Cortex A53 and graphic controller Adreno 306. The device will have 2 GB RAM and flash module of 16 GB.

The smartphone works on operating system Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with the guaranteed update within two years and will support 4G LTE networks.

The device will be equipped with 5 inch sensor display with resolution of 1280x720. The display will be protected with Gorilla Glass4. The smartphone will have 5 megapixel frontal camera and 13 megapixel main camera with LED flash.
